Ride Velo Mallorca

Ride with us in Mallorca! Our house “Casa de Ciclista” is situated in the beautiful village of Caimari on the edge of the famous Tramuntana mountains.

Whether you’re looking to beast it up and down Sa Calobra all day long, take the thrilling ride to the Formentor lighthouse, or take it easy riding through the almond groves and meadows in the flat, central part of the island, we’re ideally located.

With two double en-suite bedrooms, one twin en-suite, and three twins with a shared bathroom we can accommodate between one and twelve people.

We have a good-sized garden with a swimming pool, numerous sun beds, an outdoor kitchen with barbecue area and a comfortable seating area on our raised terrace.

If you enjoy cooking, you’ve come to the right place! The dining room table can seat twelve people, as can the outdoor table. As well as the outdoor kitchen we have a large, well-equipped kitchen in the house and dozens of cookbooks that you are welcome to use. Feel free to help yourself to freshly grown herbs on the terrace and fruit from the garden: oranges, lemons, limes, apples, figs, persimmons and pears.

Our sitting room is a lovely area for post ride recovery. We have cable TV with Eurosport, Sky Sports and BT Sports channels as well as all the usual terrestrial channels you enjoy back in the UK. There’s a good selection of cycling related books on the shelves as well as lots of back copies of Rouleur for you to dip into. We have a very fast 5G WiFi connection.

Bikes can be locked up in the ‘casita’ in the garden where we have a track pump, a bike stand and the tools you need for any maintenance while you’re here. If you want to hire bikes, Ross Rent in Selva (2km away) offer a great range of bikes from top-of-the-range Colnagos to e-bikes.

The village of Caimari itself has a good local shop, a very popular cycling cafe (Sa Ruta Verde), a couple of excellent restaurants, a chemist, tobacconist and a post office. The larger town of Selva is only 2km away, while the bustling market town of Inca is 5km away.
