'Magic Spanner' Nominated for Daily Telegraph Sports Book Awards

Carlton Kirby’s book, Magic Spanner , which was co-written by Ride Velo’s very own Robbie Broughton has been shortlisted for the Daily Telegraph Sports Book Awards in the cycling category.

Now in its second edition, the book is a rip-roaring read packed with hilarious anecdotes of Carlton’s life on the road following the Grand Tours of Europe.

Sadly the traditional awards ceremony held at Lord’s cricket ground will not take place this year because of the pandemic. Instead the winners will be announced digitally on 15th July.
